To all those artists immersed in almost humiliating poverty, who choose despite everything, to continue to chase their mirages, in the midst of a society with little taste, hardly any sense of smell, limited vision and it seems, without any kind of voice…

 

In order to arrive at what you do not know

you most go by a way which is the way of ignorance

In order to possess what you do not possess

you most go by the way of dispossession.

In order to arrive at what you are not

you most go through the way in which your are not.

And what you do not know is the only thing you know

and what you own is what you do not...

The reality, as we perceive it, comes determined by the filter of the interpretation. We collect information, compose the world from chemical elements, energies, lights, audible vibrations and even emotion. The same landscape , the same surroundings, can be totally different, still hears the same, only for the moment, only for us. The games at which are subjected by the reality applies the ones Jordi Fulla at his work. In spite of complaining of it hiperrealisme Fulla presents us elements that situate at the reality, creating some silent and reflexive surroundings that only is smashed by the thought of the viewer.

The practically photographic result of the footage evidenciathis artifice. It complains of the technique to pose it at his service. With a clear message written at one of the drawings of the sample: “I WISHED TO BE AT ANOTHER PLACE SINCE THE SAME MOMENT THAT I KNEW THAT tHERE EXISTED OTHER PLACES”
